Wine tour in Montalcino area

Arrive to Montalcino and visit the first winery. At the winery you can have a tour of the vineyards and wine cellar with an explanation of the production of wine followed by wine tasting of three different Brunello wines.
After your wine tasting we will depart for the second winery, where you will visit the winery with an explanation of the whole wine making process from the fermentation of the alcohol to the ageing into oak wood.
After the winery tour there will be wine tasting and a lunch consisting of: Tuscan panzanella (bread salad), Tuscan ham and sausage produced locally, bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil and/or fresh tomatoes, sheep’s milk cheese from Pienza, toasted bread with home-made toppings, hand-made tagliatelle pasta or traditional pici pasta dressed with wild boar sauce, home-made cookies or cake and wine tasting with three wines from the Brunello winery.
After lunch you will have free time to visit the town of Montalcino or visit the Abbey of Sant’Antimo, a Benedictine monastery from the XI century.
In the afternoon there is the visit to the third winery with the wine tasting of five Brunello wines: Brunello di Montalcino DOC, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Brunello di Montalcino “Vallochio”, Brunello di Montalcino “Riserva”, and Vin Santo Sant Antimo DOC.
