DAY TOUR OF ASSISI AND DERUTA
9.00 am Depart from hotel or your villa
Arrive to Assisi the born town of St.Francis. The first stop will be at the monastry Eremo delle Carceri , which St.Francis used for the pray whith his brothers.
After the monastery we will drive to see a panoramic view of the town. There will be free time to visit St. Claire’s church, the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, and to visit the town.
Lunch near Basilica at the restorant with amazing view and tipical food from Umbria.
After lunch depart to Deruta, the town famous for the Maiolica manufacture.
There we will visit the small specialized artisans laboratory of ceramix. Marco, the owner, will show you how they make and paint ceramix. Beafore our depart to Cortona we will visit the very special place, the church Madonna dei Bagni.
6.00 pm arrive to hotel or your villa
