CHIANTI AND MONTERIGGIONI TOUR
9:00 am Depart from your hotel or accommodation
Arrive to Castellina in Chianti with free time for visiting the town along with some shopping. From La Rocca tower (14th century) you can see an amazing view of the city and you can visit the 15th century underground passage built for defense purposes.
The main street, Via Feruccio, is the shopping area where you can buy your souvenirs from local shops

Lunch and wine tasting will be at the Casanova winery. There you can taste traditional Tuscan food, olive oil and Chianti Classico wines.
After lunch we depart for the Monteriggioni castle. It was built in the 13th century by the Republic of Siena consisting of fourteen towers for the protection of civilians’ families and soldiers. Today it is a pleasant stop in the southwest area of the Chianti region.
There you can enjoy a unique atmosphere and a fabulous view from the walls.
